FaNtrain: Scientific Presentation

9–10 September 2021, University of Konstanz

Ready to speak so that people want to listen?

  • You’d like to get to your ideas across clearly?
  • You’d like to convey your enthusiasm for research?
  • You’d like to transform your presentation skills to make a lasting impression?

Scientific talks can be fun! - This course will enable you to convey your content with confidence, clarity and impact.

Scientific presentation training with Dipl.-Phys. Dr. Carsten Rohr

Carsten Rohr is a physics lecturer at the TU Munich and a professional trainer for science-supporting skills. He knows the demands that come with science and math conferences.

The focus is on general presentation aspects: structure of the talk, presentation style, slide design, body language,... . In addition, he will address the specifics of speaking at online conferences.

Bring your last conference talk or the draft for your next one - maybe for the 2021 fall meetings - and leave with a well-styled talk.

Plus: You can collect FaN Coins for this FaNtrain course, of course!

The number of participants is limited to 20.
