Review of the 1st Fluctuations and Nonlinearities International Conference 2023

The 1st Fluctuations and Nonlinearities International Conference took place from February 27, 2023 to March 02, 2023 and was held at the Irsee Monastery. It was a truly exceptional event that brought together scientists from a variety of fields to share their latest research and explore the fascinating world of fluctuations and nonlinearities. The conference offered a unique platform for leading experts in physics, chemistry, and mathematics to showcase cutting-edge experimental and theoretical research on advanced topics, including non-Gaussian statistics, extreme nonlinearities, quantum fluctuations, entanglement, and fully dissipation-induced dynamics.

The lineup of 31 keynote speakers was impressive, with each speaker being a leading expert in their respective fields. The conference also featured a diverse range of poster contributions, providing attendees with an opportunity to learn about the latest advancements and engage in in-depth discussions with their peers. To encourage spontaneous discussions, all posters were continuously available during the whole conference.

The organizers did an excellent job in fostering interaction and networking among attendees by organizing a number of social events. The tour through the nearby famous Castle Hohenschwangau or alternatively tours through the Irsee Monastery and the related brewery were a perfect way to showcase the local history and culture. The conference dinner and brass concert were both enjoyable and provided attendees with the opportunity to build lasting relationships with fellow scientists.

The financial support of all the sponsors, especially the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation), was critical in making this conference a success.

In summary, the 1st Fluctuations and Nonlinearities International Conference held at the Irsee Monastery was a well-organized, engaging, and productive event that provided a unique platform for leading experts to showcase their latest research and exchange ideas on this fascinating field and we thank all participant to make this event so succesfull.
